HAIR CARE TIPS

With the help of my own expereince and knowledge lets make your hair one of your most important beauty assets.

it's important to know your hair type before using any product on your hair
To figure out your hair type:
Dab a tissue on your scalp the next day after washing your hair.
-If it has an oil blot, you have normal hair.
-If the tissue shows nothing, you have dry hair.
-If hair strands stick to each other then it is greasy hair.
-you can also have a oily root and a dry end.

whether you have a oily or dry hair "DONT FORGET TO PROTECT YOUR HAIR"

DO's

- Try to restrict the number of hair products you use .
- Use a mild shampoo.
-Wash your hair before its too greasy.
-Use a conditioner after every wash but apply it more on the shaft than the scalp and roots if oily.
-Have shorter hair styles than long hair styles.
-A hot oil massage twice a month is good
for the hair.
-DIY : Massage 2 tablespoon of warm olive or almond oil into your hair and keep it for few hours before washing your hair.
-Always air dry your hair
-Drink plenty of water.
-Eat a balanced, protein-rich diet.
- choose shampoos according to your hair type and not because some one else uses it.
-Trim your hair atleast in every three months.

DONT'S
-Avoid using a hairdryer, if possible.

-Avoid chemical treatments.Unless you want to have a temporary look.
-Do not comb your hair when it is wet.

SHAMPOOING
The key to beautiful hair is a beautiful scalp. If it is kept clean and normal balances are maintained, it performs its functions well.
Shampooing can be done ideally every alternate day as it is required to keep the hair clean .

-Apply hair oil(any oil which is best for you) one h
our before washing your hair.
-Comb through with a wide toothed comb to prevent tangles.
-use warm or cool water to wash your hair.(hot water tends to dry out hair and scalp)

-Apply the shampoo to the hair by first pouring it into your hand and never directly.
-Apply with the hands and fingers, massage firmly in rotating and circular movements.
-Massage the whole head gently and allow to be distribute sahmpoo throughout hair .
-Rinse the hair and scalp thoroughly and carefully.
-It’s not necessary to do the “rinse and repeat” routine unless you have an oily scalp.

-Make sure that the dirt and shampoo has been removed from hair and scalp

CONDITIONING
All types of hair has to be conditioned to keep it shiny and flexible. Conditioning is a way of giving the hair a more intense kind of nourishing treatment. It helps to protect hair from dryness, making it smooth and easier to manage.

-After shampooing gently squeeze the excess water.
-Apply some conditioner in one hand and rub palms together to evenly distribute
.Apply little conditioner through the hair from the middle of the hair shaft dow
n to ends with the fingers. Never rub on the scalp.
-Comb through hair with fingers to distribute evenly.
-Keep it on the hair for 2 minutes.
-Rinse the hair and remove all traces of conditioner.
-It’s important to rinse shampoo and conditioner from your scalp.
-Stand under the shower and gently lift hair to permit the water to reach the scalp.

-Now dry the hair.
-Don't rub, just blot the wet hair with a towel and then smooth the towel along the length of your hair.
